Joint Action for a Resilient and Sustainable Future (JARS-Future) is a non-profit organization founded on a simple but urgent belief: that protecting our environment is everyone’s responsibility, and that lasting change begins in our own communities.
Who We Are
Based in Dschang, Cameroon, JARS-Future works to preserve and restore natural ecosystems, promote biodiversity, and combat climate change through sustainable practices and active community involvement.
We are more than an advocacy group. We are a community of people who turn awareness into action, joining hands across society to build a future that is both resilient and sustainable.
Our approach is what sets us apart. We do not simply tell people that resilience matters. We work with them to build it, pairing every awareness effort with practical action in the field.

We envision communities across Cameroon and beyond living in balance with nature, where healthy ecosystems and resilient people thrive together.

To cultivate strategic partnerships with government, non-governmental and private sector organizations to mobilize resources, share knowledge, and collaborate on projects that further the goals of sustainability and resilience in communities.
Through these partnerships, we deliver real, measurable change, from restored landscapes to better-informed and better-equipped communities.
Our Activities
Our work brings together education and action across several connected areas. We raise awareness about the environmental challenges facing our communities, deliver education and training that builds local capacity, and carry out practical projects that restore ecosystems and strengthen resilience.
Alongside this, we promote climate action and build the partnerships needed to deliver lasting change. Each activity reinforces the others, turning understanding into measurable results on the ground.
